Autumn Footprints

Unlike in previous years Amber Valley Borough Council are not able to offer the guided walks booklets.

However, this year they are promoting the wonderful walks in Amber Valley & Erewash between 12th to 27th September on their website.

Scam targeting Amber Valley Borough Residents

Received from Amber Valley Borough Council.

We have been made aware of a potential fraud targeting Amber Valley residents claiming to be from Amber Valley Borough Council.

Residents have reported that they have received a standing order form through the post from the council requesting their bank account details.

The council would not usually send a standing order form.

Denby Free School - Arts Week - The Natural World

Denby Free School - Arts Week - The Natural World

Denby Free School are working towards gaining a Arts Mark award for the school.

Staff, children and members of the local community were asked to paint a stone to help create a 'stone snake' on the pavement outside the school.

On behalf of the Parish Council Cllr Ian Mosley kindly designed this lovely stone.

Derbyshire Alert -Traffic queues on major roads

With the various businesses now re-opening we ask that people are sensible when it comes to queuing - particularly where queues may form on main roads.

The impact of queues can be serious - in particular for emergency service vehicles. Marshalls should be in place and you should take directions from those members of staff to ensure the safety of everyone.
