Application reference AVA/2019/0463
An appeal has been made to the Secretary of State against the decision of Amber Valley Borough Council to refuse to grant planning permission.
The appeal will be determined on the basis of an inquiry on 11th May 2021.
The Parish Council and Denby Footpath Group have made further comments/representation to the Planning Inspectorate.

Recently, the Parish Council awarded a £550.00 Section 137 grant to Denby Cricket Club to support the clubs "Return to Cricket" programme.
The contribution with help refurbish existing nets, provide new netting, tension wires and rodent skirting.

The Parish Council would like to thank Cllr Graham Middleton and his firm MB Landscaping and Paving for giving their time to cut back the Laurel hedge at John Flamsteed Memorial Park.
This improvement will allow better vision of the area to help reduce anti social behaviour.

Although many ceremonies and services which were due to held on Remembrance Sunday (8 November) and Armistice Day (11 November) were cancelled following the government's announcement that the country would be moving into tighter restrictions.
On behalf of the Parish, Councillors, Matthew Waterfall and Graham Middleton paid tribute to the fallen in a safe wreath laying service.
