Grounds maintenance improvement undertaken at John Flamsteed Memorial Park

The Parish Council would like to thank Cllr Graham Middleton and his firm MB Landscaping and Paving for giving their time to cut back the Laurel hedge at John Flamsteed Memorial Park.

This improvement will allow better vision of the area to help reduce anti social behaviour.

Tier 3 restrictions in Derbyshire

The national restrictions end on December 2nd and England will now move back into the previous tier system.

Denby Parish Councillors Remember

Denby Parish Councillors Remember

Although many ceremonies and services which were due to held on Remembrance Sunday (8 November) and Armistice Day (11 November) were cancelled following the government's announcement that the country would be moving into tighter restrictions.

On behalf of the Parish, Councillors, Matthew Waterfall and Graham Middleton paid tribute to the fallen in a safe wreath laying service.

Derbyshire County Council - Mobile library routes

Derbyshire library service would like to promote the mobile library service. Denby will be visited once every four weeks and the mobile libraries offer a range of services for everyone including fiction and non-fiction books for adults and children, large print books, books on tape and books on CD as well as a selection of local studies books and information.

Refurbished bench installed at John Flamsteed Memorial Park

The Parish Council are pleased to share the news that a fire damaged bench has been refurbished and erected at John Flamsteed Memorial Park.

Refurbishing this bench meant that costs were kept to a minimum, ensuring that the Parish Council achieves best value for money.

The Bulls Head, Denby and Liniar at Denby Hall Business Park are stepping in to help families in the local community who may find it difficult to provide meals for their children this week.

New gate erected at John Flamsteed Memorial Park

To safeguard the site, the Parish Council recently appointed a contractor to replace the existing wooden 5-bar gate at the John Flamsteed Memorial Park.

Members are pleased to announce that the works have now been completed.

Community Speed Watch

Kilburn & Denby Neighbourhood Watch.
