Footpath improvement works
The Parish Council are pleased to report that the much needed stoning works along the Denby Pottery boundary footpath have now been completed.
This project was undertaken in partnership with Denby Parish Council and Denby Footpaths Group, with thanks to the appointed contractor Denby Construction Ltd.

Park safely - Park legally
- Do not stop or park near a school entrance or on the school clear markings.
- Do not double park to pick up or drop off children from vehicles.
- Do consider parking further away for the school and walking the last 5 or 10 minutes.
- Do consider local residents and whether they have immediate access onto and off their driveway.

Millennium Green - Derby Road
The Parish Council are pleased to announce that a number of improvements have taken place at this site. These include, repair of the small footbridge and repair/painting of the gate at the Park Road entrance.

Memorial Planter
In recognition of the long and dedicated service of
Councillor Joe Osborne to the Parish of Denby,
A memorial planter has been purchased and located to the entrance of John Flamsteed Memorial Park.
Joe worked tirelessly to help the residents of Denby and is sadly missed by all.

Police set up a new youth engagement team for Amber Valley
Three Police Community Support Officers have been attached to the team to work with young people and schools throughout the Amber Valley area.
These officers are now special points of contact for local schools, which will involve speaking and working with staff to raise youngsters awareness of safety issues, bullying, safeguarding vulnerable students and youth related nuisance behaviour.
